Dental Implants: The Implant Post

A modern post consists of a small, medical-grade, threaded titanium cylinder. This post is inserted into the bone in your mouth to provide an anchor for the implant. During the healing phase after placement, the specially designed surface of the titanium implant fuses with your bone in a process called osseointegration. These posts will never corrode or deteriorate and have proven to be extremely biocompatible over the long term.
